This week, Mr. Mcleod's AP Environmental Science class examined various techniques used to capture various fish species and had a chance to go fishing in the lake on campus. 

President and founder of the SA 4 USA club, Margaux Muhletaler '25, recently created an annual report about all the club has accomplished in just 15 months.

Grade 5 students Allie Kaiden and Marc Loutfi developed and created the latest LS WSAS Broadcast for Friday, March 15.

Students in grade 5 had the opportunity to share their PYP capstone projects with their family members during the PYP Exhibition on Thursday, March 14, in the Cohen Center.

Ms. Bohl-Ledesma had a special guest, Dr. Nestor Concha, speak to her AP Biology class about the application of structural biology as it relates to drug discovery.

Grade 5 students Otavio Kaufman and Melania Kondrashova created the latest LS WSAS Broadcast for Friday, February 29.

Students in Ms. Petronio’s Dance 6 and Dance 8 classes recently choreographed their own modern dances, centered around a theme, using all of the terms learned throughout their Modern Dance unit.

On Friday, March 8, 2024, the Middle School Concert Band played for master teacher Bill Castillo. 

Last week, the Saint Andrew’s Dance Company performed in the Future Stars Performing Arts Competition as part of the Festival of the Arts Boca. 

On Thursday, March 7, Performing Arts students from all three divisions performed the Spring Choral Concert in the Roberts Theater of Wight Hall, the Center for the Performing Arts.

On Tuesday, March 5, the Saint Andrew’s community was delighted by the range of classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions played by the three divisions of the Performing Arts Orchestra students.

In a splendid display of creativity and skill, students from across the nation, including Saint Andrew's Lower, Middle, and Upper School Chinese language students, showcased their talents in the first-ever CLASS (Chinese Language Association of Secondary-Elementary Schools) National Chinese Talent Contest.

Students in Mrs. Wolf's Grade 9 College Prep English Classes explore the beginning pages of Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis through small group discussion and writing about the graphic novel's representation of the Iranian Revolution.

This week, students in AP Calculus BC took their work to the board while they reviewed various geometric applications to integration, such as the themes of area, volume, and length.

Students in grade 8 went on a field trip to the Craig and Barbara Weiner Holocaust Museum at Nova Southeastern University on Tuesday, February 20, and Thursday, February 22. 

Saint Andrew's grades 4-6 Robotics Team, The ScotBots, was asked to identify a specific problem related to sharing their hobbies or interests and then create a website. Check out their magical website!

As part of kindergarten's lesson on the sun, the students had the opportunity to look at the sun through one of Mr. Scheidegger's telescopes. 

The girls in Ms. Platzek's grade 7 advisory made sure everyone felt the love in Middle School on Valentine's Day. 

On Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10, 33 Saint Andrew’s Middle and Upper School band students were given the opportunity to perform at the District Solo & Ensemble Music Competition and Festival at John I. Leonard High School. 

On Tuesday, February 13, Kindergarten students joined their grade 5 buddies in the courtyard for a delicious Valentine's Day breakfast.

The Middle School enjoyed an afternoon filled with athleticism, skill-base games, sweet treats, and plenty of team (advisory) spirit.

This morning, the Class of 2028 spent time in the Cohen Center, experiencing sample Upper School classes taught by Upper School teachers.

Saint Andrew’s Performing Arts was excited to welcome Salvador, Bahia, Brazil native Dora Oliveira to our US Choreography, grade 8 and grade 7 dance classes.

As part of Pre-K's transportation unit, the students had a hands-on experience with the Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Police Department.

Five Middle School students were chosen to answer questions for parents and guardians of grade 5 students at the Grade 5 Step-Up event on Wednesday, January 17.

Six Saint Andrew's students took part in the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) district event on Friday, January 12. The process for qualifying for the district event was incredibly competitive this year, with over 1,500 students entrees. 

APES students participated in the Ambassadors to the Wetland program conducted by the Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach, FL. 

Upper School students in Mr. O'Leary's chemistry classes have been taking part in a variety of different labs this week. 

Middle School SASSA tour guides led a tour around the Middle School Campus to showcase the facilities at Saint Andrew's School!

Congratulations to the Performing Arts students Jasmin Thomas '24, Julián Fente ’24, Adrian Fente '27, and Sophie Chew '25  who shined at All-State at the Florida Music Educators Association Conference in Tampa, FL, January 9-13. 

PK students are currently learning about different types of transportation. In art class, they are learning how hot air balloons work and practicing their watercolor painting skills.

In art class, the students are connecting what they are been studying about civilizations and historical expansion by looking at textile art from ancient civilizations and weavings made in traditional ways by indigenous peoples of the West.

This past Saturday, Team #17156 otherwise known as ScotsBots, played five close matches with a result of three wins and two overall losses. Currently, the Saint Andrew's Team is in fourth place within our overall South Florida league. Our next competition is in December 2023.

Students in grade 4 have been learning about prime numbers.

This past Saturday, the Lower School's FLL Robotics Team, The ScotBots, coached by Mr. Bergman, competed in a scrimmage against 9 other teams at the Cox Science Center & Aquarium.

Grade 5 students spent Monday morning making spider hats with their Kindergarten Buddies.

Last Wednesday, 12 students who are members of Roundsquare visited the JARC center in Boca Raton to help facilitate some arts and crafts projects.

Students in Mrs. O'Connell's science class have been learning about gravity and the solar system.

On Friday, October 27, Prek students had the opportunity to learn about guide dogs and how they help those who are blind or visually impaired.

Our Kindergarten students celebrated being in school for 50 days by having a 1950s-themed day.

The CLEO [Computer Literacy Education Outreach] club went to Aston Garden's Retirement Community in Parkland on Sunday.

The Tartan Singers traveled to Miami on Friday, October 20, and participated in the State High School Honor Choir at the University of Miami.

To wrap up their Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, grade 8 students showcased their salsa dancing skills in front of their teachers and fellow students during this week's assembly.

Faculty at Saint Andrew's enjoy finding ways to collaborate with their colleagues from other departments in order to create memorable interdisciplinary experiences for their students. Last week, the social studies department teamed up with the performing arts department for a very special lesson involving the connection between African-American culture and dance.

Lower School Investiture is a special chapel where the Lower School hands over roles and responsibilities to the grade 5 students for the academic year.

In science class, KC compared bubbles to bubbles! They could see which solution made the biggest bubble by making bubbles on their lab station with two different soap solutions.

Grade 4 students who are learning to play string instruments revealed their chosen instruments during the Instrument Choosing Ceremony held within their class period. In front of their peers, the students recited the Orchestra Pledge and enthusiastically declared the instrument they would be playing
